When the idea of creating books for Grady Bear first came up, we knew then that we weren’t just going to be writing and selling a couple of books. What drives us is how the adventures of Grady Bear can make a difference to not only the lives of children but also the people in the lives of the children – parents, caregivers and educators… by opening doors for deeper conversations into life and living.
Since the best things in life are free, here are some extras for you, Grady Bear followers!
THE GRADY BEAR WALKTHROUGH FREE DOWNLOAD
After Grady Bear books began on their adventure… making their way at festivals such as the Asian Festival of Children’s Content and the Beijing International Book Fair, and Grady Bear stories began to be shared in bookstores and at schools around the world… the author and face of the books gained valuable feedback on how to make the Grady Books better. Especially from the little ones whom these books are for – Thank You for being honest and open!
This spurred the writer… how to find new ways so that many more Grady Bear followers can benefit from the multiple possibilities and ideas that were folded into each Grady Bear book?
Hence the birth to the idea of creating walkthroughs. (Side note: the writer likes gaming quite a bit as well: why not play in alternative worlds if not creating them through stories and ideas?)
The Grady Bear Walkthroughs are written for parents, educators and story-tellers. It is meant to take you, in detail, page by page, through the Grady Bear books, how you and your reader can read aloud (both together and separately) and how you can further conversations based on the ideas on that page with the reader. From the choice of words and sentences, to the carefully-thought out illustrations to the chosen themes, the Grady Bear Walkthroughs are created to show you how to open doors to conversations.
All this for free! For following the adventures of Grady Bear! It is our sincere hope you will enjoy the sample 71 pages of walkthrough for Grady’s First Day at School as much as the writer did creating them. Enjoy and Share the Love!
